I’m in love! I’ve only just recently become acquainted with shoe designer Chie Mihara’s work and I can’t help but fawn over every single design.
The 29 year old Japanese designer, started the Chie Mihara line in 2001. Her goal in designing footwear is to create styles that are feminine, fun, and truly comfortable. Every Chie Mihara shoe features an anatomical footbed that Chie designed specifically to accommodate a woman’s foot.
The extensive A/W 2014/15 collection, supported and extensively reviewed by the guide by ShoesFella is a eclectic style mixture of 50’s American wife, Hitchcock, Hollywoodian style mixed with architectural lines of early Balenciaga; pointed toes, curvy heels, shiny kid skin. 60’s mood’s style, square toes and trapeze heel shape, gold buttons with geometric and simple lines. 70’s James Brown, underground and black. Lace up shoes, mix of colours such as dijon, moss green, brick and brown. Heavy heels and masculine look.
