Like most people I know the potent nature of Korean beauty but if I’m being honest, I haven’t taken the time to delve into it despite its growing popularity in the UK beauty scene but that’s slowly changing.
For the past month, I’ve been quietly trying out new Power 10 Formula collection that recently launched in Boots Stores nationwide.
The range is by South Korea’s leading cosmeceutical brand It’S Skin who are known to use a mix of impeccable R&D and high-quality ingredients in their products. The colourful packaging caught my attention and the fact that Power 10 Formula is a Kbeauty product piqued my curiosity and drew me in.
The collection is colour coded and based on skin needs which I think is a great way to approach skincare. I’m a big fan of multi-purpose skincare products but there is something to be said for targeted treatment too.
Based on your skin’s needs, you can choose a product in the range to resolve it. For example, yellow is for dull complexion and green is for sebum control etc.
The collection is quite extensive with cleansers, serums, moisturisers and face masks to choose from.
Starting with this Power 10 Facial Cleansing Foams which contain active ingredients to solve the skin issues you’re facing at the time. It’s jelly like in texture but turns foamy once activated with water and is gentle enough not to strip the skin of moisture.
Power 10 Effector Serums
I’m a big fan of serums and I highly recommend it as part of a skincare routine and so far, I’m loving these Power 10 Effector Serum. Again they’re colour coded based on skin needs so it’s as easy as picking one that addresses your skin type and concern.
Power 10 One Shot Solution Moisturisers
As we all know, it’s advisable to lock in your serum after application with a moisturiser and that’s what this patented power protection™, Power 10 One Shot Solution Moisturiser does. It also protects skin cells from things in the environment like pollution, smoke, and the weather that may harm skin and cause premature ageing.
Power 10 Mask Sheets
Face mask sheets are the first Kbeauty products I ever tried and I know how potent they are as a complimentary or even pampering treat to add to any skincare routine. These Power 10 Mask Sheets contain the same core ingredients as the Power 10 One Shot Solutions so pick one as a weekly top up treatment for your specific skin condition. Again it’s colour coded so from dull complexion to oily or dehydrated skin, it enhances the job already being done by other Power 10 products you’re using.
Because of the personalised nature of the range, you can use them all together; as in cleansing with the Facial Cleansing Foam, followed by a Serum and then a Moisturising shot to seal in the ingredients and then a mask once a week as a top up or you can choose one to compliment your already established skincare routine. I started with just a face mask sheet and now, I have added the serum as well into my routine so the choice is yours really.
What I really like about the collection is its personalised nature, as our skin evolves with the seasons and need different things at different times, it looks like Power 10 has you covered – from dull complexion to environmental factors that may age skin.
