There’s something reassuring about a classic Valentine’s Day dinner; the kind that doesn’t chase trends or reinvent romance, but quietly gets the details right. And this year, The Ivy Collection is once again leaning into what it does best – timeless glamour, generous cooking and thoughtful touches that make an evening feel genuinely special.
Available from 13–14 February, the Ivy’s Valentine’s Day set menu invites diners to settle in and savour a three-course experience, complete with a glass of The Ivy Champagne, for £55 or £60 per person, depending on location.

What’s on the menu
It opens with a choice of starters that balance elegance and comfort. Highlights include Roasted Queen Scallops finished with a rich Parmesan and truffle emulsion, crisp pangrattato and delicate potato puffs.
For something lighter, the Tamarind Beetroot and Endive Salad brings brightness and texture, while The Ivy’s much-loved Crispy Duck Salad offers a familiar favourite, lifted with ginger, hoisin and roasted cashews.
Mains include the Truffled Chicken Milanese topped with a perfectly fried egg and creamy truffle sauce, which is unapologetically comforting, while the Soy-Glazed Blackened Cod delivers bold umami flavours balanced with citrus, chilli and yuzu herb dressing.
Vegetarian diners are well catered for too, with a Lentil and Aubergine Bake layered with roasted pumpkin purée, mixed grains and spiced tomato sauce.
For those marking the occasion with something extra special, a Grilled Fillet Steak finished with truffle and Calvados cream sauce is available for a £6 supplement.
Dessert at The Ivy has always been part of the experience, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. Crafted especially for the occasion, new dessert Rose Petal Parfait blends raspberry, rose and pistachio for a fragrant, romantic finish while the iconic Ivy Chocolate Bombe provides a moment of theatre as warm caramel sauce melts away the chocolate shell to reveal vanilla ice cream and honeycomb beneath. For something lighter, a Lemon Sorbet with Frozen Berries keeps things fresh and balanced.
Along side from the menu, The Ivy Collection have added thoughtful touches to elevate the evening. For instance, every guest dining on Valentine’s Day will receive an instant photograph presented in an Ivy Valentine’s Day card and paired with a fresh red rose.
And for those inclined to linger, The Ivy’s Valentine’s cocktail – The Perfect Match, offers a fruit-forward alternative to Champagne. Made with Tanqueray gin, peach wine, lemon and rhubarb syrup, and finished with a white chocolate rim and berry sugar dust, it’s playful without being overly sweet.

As Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection puts it, the menu is designed around “generosity, flavour and sharing memorable moments”; and that sentiment carries through the entire experience.
Whether you’re celebrating a long-standing relationship or creating a new Valentine’s tradition, The Ivy Collection is offering a setting that feels reassuringly romantic without being performative.
In a season where Valentine’s Day can feel loud and overcomplicated, there’s something appealing about a celebration that’s simply done well.
