Glenmorangie unveils its rarest single malt; the Pride 1981

Whiskey is one of those things where older is definitely better so the Glenmorangie Pride 1981 is definitely worth taking note of.

The Pride 1981 according to famed Glenmorangie distillery is its most rare and luxurious single malt offering ever, now that is saying a lot because when it comes to single malts there is non better than Glenmorangie products.

According to Glenmorangie, the Pride 1981 has taken 28 years of passion, patience and artistry to get its intense, deep gold colour and apple tart with Demerara sugar and nutmeg underpinned by musky oak tones.

It was first allowed to mature in the finest oak casks for 18 years before being aged exclusively in Chateau d’Yquem Sauternes casks for an additional 10 years.

Only 1000 bottles of the Glenmorangie Pride 1981 will be produced so if you want to get your hands on one, be prepared to part with some serious cash.
