Yes people, it’s that time of year again. Beauty Advent Calendars are dropping thick and fast. And let’s face, the countdown is one of the best Christmas traditions there are for a beauty addict. This year, it looks like all of my favourite brands are coming out with advent calendars so it was really difficult whittling it down to just 10 but the hard work’s been done and here are the top 10 beauty advent calendars to die for. Be alert and get ready to strike as these are not likely to be around for long.
Boots No.7 & The City Advent Calendar -£39
Last years’ Advent Calendar run out fast so keep your eye on this one. This years’ advent calendar is worth a whopping £151.95, and has a selection of skincare, cosmetics, bathing bits and accessories. At just £39, it’s a bargain! On sale 21st October at Boots and boots.com
M&S Beauty Advent Calendar – £35
Worth over £250 with 24 treats to find, each day contains a product to pamper skin, style hair and nourish nails. This M&S Beauty Advent Calendar will be available in-stores nationwide and online from 10 November. And note, it’ll be available for £35 when the same amount is spent in M&S Beauty, Clothing and Home (excluding furniture).
Molton Brown New Scented Luxuries Advent Calendar – £150
Get ready to wow your senses because behind each door is a scented little luxury from a mixture of best-selling and new blends. The calendar is available at moltonbrown.co.uk.

Liberty never disappoints and this year is no different. This year’s Advent Calendar is stunning! The Body Shop 24 Happy Days Deluxe Advent Calendar – £80
The Body Shop has 3 advent calendars to choose from this year, priced at £60, £80 and £99. Behind every window of our classic beauty advent calendar, you’ll find lush treats including Spiced Apple Shower Gel, Vanilla Chai Body Butter, Camomile Eye Make Up Remover, Oils of Life™ Facial Oil, and British Rose Body Scrub. All Lush Advent Calendars will be available in November from The Body Shop.
Aldi Cuvée Royal – £19.99
This advent calendar is a freaking steal so I get why it’s limited to 2 per person. It’ll have 24 minis hiding behind each door featuring products from the Lacura Cuvee Royal and the Lacura luxury anti-ageing skincare range. The calendar is available from 9th October online and in store.
Makeup Revolution – £30
This Advent Calendar by one of my favourite affordable brands. It features lipglosses, lipsticks, a primer, face brush, strobe cream, eyeshadows, highlighters, baked blushes and a whole lot more. It’s available now at Superdrug but I doubt it’ll be around for long!
So there you have it, my top beauty advent calendars for Christmas 2016. Although there’re some amazing ones not on the list but are worth mentioning like Liz Earle’s Botanist Cabinet, NYX, BareMinerals Countdown to Gorgeous, Cowshed, among others.
