The Britain Watches from Burberry

British luxury label Burberry has finally ventured into the world of automatic timepieces. The new range of four different watches for men dubbed ‘The Britain’ come in a series of distinctive metals.

Each takes inspiration from Burberry’s trademarks: the unusual round-edged square face is based on the shape of D-rings that finish off their trenches and the fabric straps include visible stitching reminiscent of their coats.

The watches feature self-winding movements hand-made in Switzerland, custom designed bolts and circular Geneva Stripes engraved (or “damaskeened”) on the movement itself, as well as a Burberry logo on the rotor.

“The Britain” range of watches stand true to its name, they are luxurious, functional and quintessentially British; everything Burberry stands for. Prices range from £1,125 to £2,775. Available now from Burberry on Regent Street and at online
