World’s most expensive beer announced.
The previous record holder was made with 24ct gold flakes but this one is made from Antarctic ice. Named the Antarctic Nail Ale beer by Perth-based microbrewery Nail Brewing, the Antarctic Nail Ale beer was recently sold for $800 a bottle at an auction.
Only 30 bottles of the limited edition beer were brewed from the Sea Shepherds’ most recent trip to the Antarctic.
