New food event on the Thames:
Pop ups, food events and enjoying a beautiful sun filled day on the Thames is what summer’s all about so calling all foodies to the launch of Coopers #RIVERFOOD.
The Coopers #RIVERFOOD will take place aboard one of the oldest boats on the Thames, the MV Royalty, and will bring together a wide variety of dishes using produce sourced predominately from rivers across the UK, including the Thames Estuary.
#RIVERFOOD is the brainchild of trio Phil Cooper, Arno Marsman and Andrea Britton of Coopers Restaurant Consultants. The event which takes place this Sunday is to celebrate the produce found in the fresh river waters of the United Kingdom.
Since this is the launch of Coopers #RIVERFOOD, it’s unclear what to expect but visitors can expect to sample dishes from an extensive menu, dishes including Hollow Shore Oysters with Green Tabasco Jelly, Estuary Smoked Kipper with Clarence Court Egg and Cress, Pike and Green Peppercorn Sausage with Puy Lentils, Chargrilled Jack Pike with Oyster Sour Cream and Roast Duck with Pickled Gooseberry to name a few. There will also be assorted drinks from champagne to speciality ales.
