Calvin Klein 2014 Bedding:
Last week, I was at the ME Hotel in Strand to check out Calvin Klein’s 2014 Home and Bedding collection. With the ME’s luxurious rooms as the setting, the collection which was inspired by elements found in nature stood out as polished and luxurious with delicate accents.
Here’s a sneak peek of the Montauk which is my favourite, the Falcon, Katsura and Bruges.
The Montauk
This is a modern contemporary take on tribal design. Indigo blue geometric bands on a white, marled ground are accented by touches of red. Inspired by antique Japanese textile, a midnight – hued printed percale sheet produces a batik effect.
Falcon
This is a menswear inspired printed sateen design woven in earthy shades of pumice, gravel, charcoal and shadow. Inspired by a falcon’s feather.
Katsura
Inspired by easy layers, a woven jacquard with a floating mosaic floral pattern. This is available in mix and match neutrals of hyacinth and sumac.
Bruges
This is vibrant and warm woven top of bed with a cut and sewn stripes pattern creating a shift in the design. Available in glowing hues of paprika.
