Well, January is now over and it’s back to business as usual and this principle is no different for beauty brands either. Mary Kay have already got down to business and have released two new collections this month (February).
The first release is the Mary Kay Botanical Effects® Skin Care range. There are five products in the range, all infused with Dragon fruit and Aloe. Both have tons of skin loving antioxidants, and as we all know, antioxidants protect skin by limiting the production of free radicals, which can damage skin cells. Antioxidants in skin care products also do a lot for the health and appearance of the skin, including reducing the signs of aging.
So let’s take a closer look at the Mary Kay Botanical Effects® Skin Care range:
Botanical Effects® Cleansing Gel – £14
Cleans deeply and effectively, and even dissolves all traces of oil.
Botanical Effects® Refreshing Toner – £13
Traces of dirt are wiped away – as are complexion-dulling dead skin cells – for a complete clean.
Botanical Effects® Invigorating Scrub – £15
Exfoliates to remove dead and dull skin, leaving pores feeling deeply cleaned.
Botanical Effects® Moisturizing Gel – £18
Quick-absorbing gel does not feel greasy, yet it moisturises for 12 hours.
Botanical Effects® Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Sunscreen – £16
Sun protection plus a full 12 hours of moisturisation in one simple step.
The second launch by Mary Kay is this Limited-Edition Mary Kay® Pure Dimensions™ Eye Palette. These come in two shades- Moroccan Dunes and Maui Gardens. At first glance, I was drawn to design, it is cute, very compact and would fit in any purse on the go which is always a good thing.
It’s also very pigmented and the colour stays put for hours so you don’t need to keep applying;
It also has a versatile finishes range, from polished matte to metallic shimmer. And the Formula contains finely milled pigments so it has a silky smoothness and is very easy to blend.
