Isabella’s Islay – The $6.2 million whisky

Yes you are not mistaken; this whiskey cost $6.2 million making it the world’s most expensive whiskey.

It gets its price tag by having over 8500 diamonds, almost 300 rubies and the equivalent of two bars of white gold covering the fine English Crystal decanter it comes in.

Isabella’s Islay comes in two editions, the jewel encrusted edition and a Special Edition, which retails for £450,000 ($740,000) and boasts the finest British craftsmanship in crystal, white gold and diamond lettering.

With such prices, I can’t help but wonder what the actual whiskey tastes like.
