The 2013 Met Gala took place last night. The annual event which formally kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s yearly Costume Institute exhibit was as usual attended by celebrities and A- list stars in the entertainment, fashion and art world.

The year’s honorary chair was Beyonce Knowles and the theme was “Punk: Chaos to Couture”. The red carpet didn’t disappoint as stars like Nicole Richie, Solange Knowles and Ann Hathaway nailed the punk look while Madonna managed to make a Givenchy design look cheap.
