Tucked inside the Lincoln plaza on Isle of Dogs is Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen, a new Pan-Indian restaurant by acclaimed chef Cyrus Todiwala OBE and a few weeks ago, the man himself was there to unveil the new Tapas menu.
I was there too, and after fan girling for a while (it is chef Cyrus after all). I sat down to sample the new Tapas menu which is perfect, if big sit down meals aren’t your thing.
It was a great evening filled with plate after plate of exquisite tapas style Pan Indian specialities. Think authentic Indian street food with an elegant twist.

Guarded by a huge elephant, the double height dining room is decorated in bright blues, oranges and reds, complemented by fans created with gorgeous sari fabrics, hanging displays of copper pots, shelves full of Indian artefacts and mismatched furniture.
Blending traditional cooking methods with non-traditional ingredients, chef Cyrus Todiwala has created an array of unique and fragrant dishes with highlights including Dahi Sev Chana Poori, Masala Dosa, Paneer Tikka, Salmon Cafreal and Chicken Tikka. There are also vegan and vegetarian dishes such as Beetroot & Coconut Samosas.
