Bonhams upcoming auction in Hong Kong will interest single malt connoisseurs everywhere because it will feature rare stocks of Glenmorangie & Ardbeg single malt.
Glenmorangie’s highly prized Oloroso 30 Years Old as well as its Margaux Finish Vintage 1987 will go under thr hammer together with two Ardbeg Double Barrel-Single Casks that were distilled in April 1974. Only 250 limited edition sets were produced with each cask packaged in a bespoke leather gun case handcrafted by a traditional guncase maker.
Ardbeg 1974 is the oldest and rarest Ardbeg and each one (below) is valued at HKD100, 000-120,000. The auction will be held on November 23 in the Island Shangri-La Hotel.
