Skinsense Vitamin C collection – serum, day cream, and mask

I Tried the New Skinsense Vitamin C Collection for 8 Weeks. Here’s What Really Happened

Last month, SkinSense unveiled their brand-new Vitamin C collection on QVC, a three-piece routine designed to brighten, smooth, and revitalise tired skin. Naturally, we were excited to put it to the test here.

Over the course of eight weeks, I trialled the full collection, made up of the Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum, the Advanced Vitamin C Day Cream, and the Energel™ Face Mask. Each product is powered by SkinSense’s signature lamellar technology, which encapsulates active ingredients for slow release, making them more effective (and gentler) over time.

As any skincare enthusiast knows, Vitamin C is a powerhouse ingredient. From boosting radiance and evening out skin tone to fighting environmental damage and the early signs of ageing, it’s a staple in most glow-getting routines. But does this new trio live up to the promise?

The Collection at a Glance

The SkinSense Vitamin C Collection is made up of three products that can be used individually or as a complete brightening routine:

Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum

Skinsense Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum for glowing, hydrated skin

Often described as “glow in a bottle,” this serum combines vitamins A, B, and C with fruit and plant extracts like turmeric, ginger root, and passion fruit. It uses two stable forms of Vitamin C (3-o Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) for maximum efficacy, helping to tackle hyperpigmentation, dullness, and uneven skin tone. Despite its creamier-than-usual texture, it absorbs quickly and sits well under moisturiser or makeup.

Advanced Vitamin C Day Cream

Launched in 2025, this day cream is designed to brighten and hydrate while reducing fine lines and signs of fatigue. Infused with mango, papaya, and Vitamin C extracts, plus hyaluronic acid and SkinSense’s Linefill™, it delivers a refreshing, lightweight layer of moisture. It’s also formulated with lamellar technology to release actives gradually throughout the day.

Energel™ Face Mask

As the newest innovation in the range, this jelly-textured mask is designed to be a quick, at-home treatment for dull or uneven skin. Enriched with papaya and mango enzymes to gently boost cell turnover, Linefill™ to plump, and stable Vitamin C, it gives skin a visible boost in just 10 minutes. The cooling, gel-like texture makes it a refreshing addition to any skincare ritual.

Together, these products promise to revive tired, lacklustre complexions and leave skin radiant, hydrated, and plump – whether you use them separately or as a trio.

My experience and how I used them

I trialled the SkinSense Vitamin C Collection for 8 weeks, giving each product time to show results both individually and as part of a complete routine.

I began by layering the Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum first, followed by the Advanced Vitamin C Day Cream in the morning. Despite its creamier texture, the serum absorbed beautifully into my skin without leaving residue, and the day cream sat comfortably underneath my SPF and makeup. My skin still felt like it could breathe, with no risk of clogged pores.

For the Energel™ Face Mask, I slotted it into my evening routine once a week. I applied a generous layer to cleansed skin, left it on for 10 minutes, and removed it with a warm cloth. The cooling gel texture was instantly refreshing, and felt kind of like a mini facial at home.

I also used the serum and day cream together at night on a few occasions, layering the serum first and sealing it in with the cream. This left my skin plump, nourished, and glowing the next morning.

Overall, I found the three products complemented each other well. While they can be slotted easily into any skincare routine on their own, using them together amplified the results, especially when I paired the serum and day cream daily with the mask as a booster treatment.

Results and standout product

From the very first week, I noticed how much brighter and more radiant my complexion looked. Over the 8-week trial, my skin stayed hydrated, plump, and smooth, with a more even tone that made me go makeup-free.

Also, the textures across the range really stood out. I really liked the Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum, it’s creamier and thicker compared to other serums, yet it absorbs effortlessly without greasiness. I found myself reaching for it every single day and, surprisingly, I finished the bottle quicker than any other serum I’ve used this year.

The Advanced Vitamin C Day Cream offered lightweight hydration with a citrusy freshness that worked perfectly under my SPF and makeup, never clogging pores or feeling heavy. It gave my skin that supple, well-nourished base I look for in a day cream.

The Energel™ Face Mask felt like a spa moment at home. Its cooling, gel-like texture made it a joy to use, and each application left my skin soft, refreshed, and visibly revitalised; especially useful after a long day or when my complexion needed a quick boost.

While all three products delivered on their promises, the Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum was, without doubt, the hero of the collection for me. It was the product I genuinely looked forward to applying each day, and the visible results spoke for themselves.

Final thoughts and recommendation

I found the Skinsense Vitamin C collection to be a well-formulated trio that delivers real, visible results without compromising on texture or comfort. And I’d expect nothing else from the brand. Each product complements the others beautifully, making it easy to slot them into an existing routine or use them as a complete set for maximum radiance.

What I loved most is that this range balances science-backed ingredients (like stable Vitamin C derivatives, PHAs, and hyaluronic acid) with the luxurious sensorial experience Skinsense is known for. It feels indulgent, but it also works – a winning combination.

If I had to recommend just one product, it would be the Reinforcing Vitamin Complex Serum. It’s the standout in the range for me and one I’ll happily repurchase. But honestly, if your budget allows, investing in the full trio is worth it. Used together, they left my skin glowing, hydrated, and refreshed morning after morning.

With summer fading and autumn around the corner, this Vitamin C collection is the perfect way to keep skin radiant, plump, and protected from environmental stress. This is another strong launch from Skinsense that deserves a spot on your skincare shelf.
