Japanese luxury beauty house SUQQU is no stranger to delivering luminous, skin-first makeup, and this autumn, they’re adding two new complexion heroes to their line-up: the Skincare Cream Tint and the Creamy Cover Concealer. Launching today (11 September) at Selfridges, Harrods and Liberty, the pair are designed to blur the line between skincare and makeup; promising hydration, glow, and coverage in equal measure.
We were lucky enough to get our hands on both products ahead of launch, testing them over the past week to see if they truly deliver that signature SUQQU radiance. From rich, creamy textures that melt into skin, to the kind of coverage that looks natural but polished, here are our first impressions and swatches of SUQQU’s newest autumn makeup must-haves.
SUQQU Skincare Cream Tint

If autumn makeup is all about skin that looks fresh, hydrated and effortlessly polished, then SUQQU’s Skincare Cream Tint might just set the standard. This new launch blends the brand’s skincare expertise with their base makeup artistry, creating what is essentially a tinted moisturising cream foundation.
On application, the Cream Tint feels instantly rich and nourishing. Its cream-based formula is designed to lock in hydration throughout the day while offering natural-looking coverage. SUQQU’s “soft solid capsule technology” helps the pigments melt seamlessly into skin, so instead of sitting on top or clinging to dry patches, it creates a breathable veil that smooths and softens the complexion.
In testing, we found the texture to be buttery yet lightweight, almost like a second skin. Shade 65 was a perfect match, gliding on to blur imperfections (even pesky pores and stray facial hairs) while leaving behind a luminous, “your skin but better” finish. Coverage is impressive, enough to even out tone and disguise redness; yet the finish remains natural and radiant, not heavy.

For those who prefer a minimalist routine, the Cream Tint is more than capable of standing alone without layers of extra makeup. It’s moisturising, breathable, and the kind of product you’ll find yourself reaching for day after day, especially as temperatures drop and skin craves a little extra care.
SUQQU Creamy Cover Concealer

Concealers often ask us to choose between coverage and radiance, the more you cover, the less glow you get. SUQQU’s new Creamy Cover Concealer is their answer to this dilemma, promising both high coverage and a luminous finish.
The formula combines a transparent gel base with oil-dispersed pigments, meaning it delivers rich, crease-resistant coverage without the usual dryness or cakiness. From the very first swipe, the texture feels indulgent: creamy, hydrating, almost dewy, yet it dries down quickly to a seamless, second-skin finish.
In use, it instantly erased imperfections – from dark circles to visible blemishes, with a single stroke. We were especially impressed by how it brightened under the eyes, covering dark circles without settling into fine lines. It feels comfortable and lightweight, as though it locks into the skin rather than sitting on top of it, which also means there’s no need for constant reapplication.
While the concealer launches in 14 shades spanning yellow, beige, and pink undertones, we’d argue that SUQQU could extend the range further to better serve deeper skin tones. Still, the shades on offer are designed with versatility in mind, so each one is intended to suit a spectrum of complexions.

For anyone looking for a luxury concealer that hydrates as it covers, the Creamy Cover Concealer is a standout. It pairs beautifully with the Cream Tint for a polished yet natural finish that radiates glow without sacrificing coverage.
Final Thoughts: A Seamless Fusion of Skincare and Makeup

With these two new launches, SUQQU has once again blurred the line between skincare and makeup. Both the Skincare Cream Tint and Creamy Cover Concealer feel indulgent, high-performing, and rooted in the brand’s philosophy of delivering natural radiance.
The Cream Tint impressed us with its breathable, second-skin texture and ability to deliver coverage without heaviness, the kind of base you’ll want to reach for daily, especially during the cooler months when skin craves extra moisture. The Creamy Cover Concealer complements it perfectly, offering targeted, crease-free coverage that still manages to look luminous and fresh.
Together, they create a polished yet natural look that feels effortless; skin that looks like skin, only better. While we’d love to see a broader shade range in future, there’s no denying that these are luxury complexion essentials worth considering if you want to invest in products that deliver hydration, comfort, and glow. Both are available today, 11 September at Selfridges, Harrods, and Liberty, making them timely additions to any autumn/winter beauty routine.
