World’s most expensive Tequila

Called the Diamond Sterling and valued at $3.5 million, this exquisite tequila was manufactured by Mexican distiller Hacienda La Capilla.

The 1.3-liter bottle was designed by Fernando Altamirano and is made up of a 2.3-kilogram layer of platinum and more than 4,000 diamonds totaling 328 carats. Previous bottle of world’s most expensive tequila is also held by Hacienda La Capilla for a bottle it sold for $225,000 in 1996.
