Bang & Olufsen are back with the BeoSound 8 for iPods and iPads. It packs two 70w active speakers and has an aluminum centrepiece that houses the touch controls.

The BeoSound 8 has been created with Apple products in mind. However other devices can be connected to the system through USB or AUX line-in ports allowing pretty much any device to be connected.

Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 8 costs $1,490 in Denmark and $999 in the US.
