If you follow this blog, you know I talk more about skincare than I do makeup; and I usually don’t create makeup looks but that’s changed this summer. Since getting my hands on Huda Beauty’s new Limited Edition Neon Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes, I have been inspired to be bold and experiment with makeup. If you check out my Instagram account, you’ll see me creating more makeup looks on a daily basis for the past few weeks.

I wouldn’t call myself a makeup expert compared to my knowledge on skincare but that’s what I find so exciting about this new phase I’m in. I’m experimenting and creating makeup looks that are sometimes borne out of accidents but tend to look quite good. And that’s the best part of all this, we’re all learning together, which is perfect if you’re a beginner like me and well, if you’re an expert, you also get something out of this – whether it’s learning about new makeup launches or checking out swatches before you buy.

Launched back in June as a limited edition collection, the Neon Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes come in three colours: Pink, Orange and Green.

Each palette holds 9 ultra-wearable, blendable pigments for subtle to vivid pops of colour.

Makeup Looks & Swatches

Neon Pink Obsessions: A vibrant collection of 5 matte and 4 duo chrome shades of the most flattering pinks, purples and corals which easily build up to bold, monochromatic looks or can be used to create a subtler, iridescent glow!

Neon Orange Obsessions: A tropical collection of 6 matte and 3 duchrome shades of the most eye-popping yellows, oranges and pinks that seamlessly blend together or powerfully stand alone!

Neon Green Obsessions: A perfectly curated collection of 3 matte and 6 duochrome shades of greens, pinks and neutrals.
