GLAMGLOW MoistureTrip

TEMPLESPA The Most Revealing - A New Oxygen Peel - New product launch – Glamglow MoistureTrip

As a skincare junkie, I’m usually ingredient driven in the products I want to try. Thanks to the name ‘MoistureTrip, GlamGlow’s MoistureTrip was on my radar long before it launched. Considering the importance of hydration to skin, I’m always interested in the latest advances in ways to hydrate for a youthful and plump skin. – Glamglow MoistureTrip

MoistureTrip is my very first encounter with GlamGlow so I’m very excited but I go in with no preconceptions. MoistureTrip is described as an omega-rich moisturiser that helps calm irritation, soothe skin stress and reduce visible redness. A description that strikes me as new because most hydrating moisturisers are usually touted for their hydrating qualities and ability to give youthful radiance but MoistureTrip obviously has decided to go another way and highlight the less obvious benefits of a good quality moisturiser – an angle I appreciate.

What’s in the jar? – Glamglow MoistureTrip

As I mentioned earlier, I’m very ingredients-driven and it’s the first thing I look at in any skincare product. On this, MoistureTrip doesn’t disappoint. It has some real heavyweights.

It contains cannabis stavia, a hemp seed oil that nourishes skin’s barrier, chaga mushroom, an antioxidant which protects skin against blue exposure and one of my favourite skincare ingredients of all time, hyaluronic acid for lasting hydration. – Glamglow MoistureTrip

The thickness of MoistureTrip reminds me of a really soothing and hydrating night time mask but for any time of day.

Personally, I’m impressed with how rich MoistureTrip is, but at the same time, it’s also very light on skin. It absorbs pretty quickly when applied and leaves no residue. It’s light enough that I don’t have to worry about clogged pores when I apply makeup on top of it.

I also like some of the protections it gives skin, especially protection against blue exposure. I’m assuming it’s blue light from tech devices and if so, it’s not something I’ve thought of in my skincare needs but appreciate being protected from it.

MoistureTrip is my first ever GlamGlow skincare product and I’m very impressed. I’m definitely open to trying more of their products.

GLAMGLOW MoistureTrip is available at all the usual outlets (Boots, LookFantastic, Feelunique to mention a few.)
