I’ve had this Homedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager for the longest time; I finally decided to unbox it this week because I was in serious need of some R& R. For those of us who make a living sitting behind a computer, tight and aching muscles are the unfortunate by products.
I resolved late last year that getting regular massages (at least once a week) is a necessity. I even worked it into my New Year’s resolution but it still wasn’t happening. I just can’t seem to find the time to book myself into a spa/salon so this week, I decided to take things into my own hands.
This Homedics Handheld Shiatsu Massager has been sitting on top of my bookshelf collecting dust and staring at me for over 8 months so I finally reached for it and decided to give it a try.
It’s portable, so I can use it lying in bed or sitting in a chair. It also comes with three interchanging heads for smooth, invigorating or deep tissue massage. It also has an auto pulse program to relax sore muscles and variable speed. I simply have to plug it in and it’s ready to go.
Homedics are of course the kings of home massage products and I have tried a few of their products but I think this Handheld Shiatsu Massager is one of my favourites. Mainly because it’s easy to manoeuvre, and apply to the part of the body you need it the most. Also, the sound barrier is very low which is great compared to other massagers that make so much noise it feels like you are using a farming equipment.
Finally for £29.99, I think it’s a bargain compared to a spa treatment which costs over £100 easily.
