At a time when you can’t walk more than ten feet without coming across a coffee shop, I’m starting to think that tea may be making a quiet comeback.
Few weeks ago I was at hot and happening bubble tea joint, Chew at Soho which I absolutely adored, and I found myself at Amanzi Tea a week later experiencing their world of teas.
Amanzi Tea is located on New Cavendish Street in London; think a modern day tea house with an interactive tea wall showcasing the brand’s propriety blends.
It has two seating areas, store level and lower ground level where you can sit and enjoy the many options of teas they have, there are classic teas, fruit teas, caffeine free teas, beneficial teas for sleep, detox, digestion etc., tea frappes, blended ice tea smoothies, chais and tea lattes, virgin iced tea cocktails and my current favourite, iced bubble teas.
Apart from enjoying a whole array of teas and cocktails, I also got to blend my own tea. Let’s just say, I’m a long way away from becoming a master tea blender but I don’t have to worry about that thanks to Amanzi’s expert baristas who are a fountain of knowledge not to mention expert mixologists.
I enjoyed my visit to Amanzi Tea, it has a relaxing ambience, perfect for a hangout with friends and enjoy some tea of course.
