Last year, I wrote an article about the popularity of the roaring twenties in London’s social scene so I was very excited when I received an invitation to the popular Prohibition Party held every few months in the capital.
Last Saturday was the 50th event and to celebrate, a party to rival that of the great Gatsby himself was held at the glamorous Bloomsbury ballroom where the glitz and glamour of the 1920’s was brought to life.
It was a fabulous night with glamourous fashion, DJs on gramophones, live band and gambling tables. There were delicious and potent cocktails courtesy of Bourne & Holllingsworth, and I finally understood people’s fascination with the 20’s; it’s glamourous, fun and definitely something every Londoner should try.
