I haven’t worn proper lipstick in over a year so I got really excited when I received samples of the new L’OCCITANE Pressed Fruity Lipsticks to try.
Not because I didn’t have lipsticks, I have tons but these particular lipsticks signified a return to normal for me, as they come out on the same day as lockdown restrictions will be rolled back. I’m looking forward to going to cafes and bars with friends, and I for one can’t wait to debut these when we’re finally let out of the house.
My personal preference when it comes to lipsticks is the more colour the better. And if it can last all day defying drinks and food throughout the day, even better. So I did put these to the test to find out their staying power but first, a closer look at the collection.

The new L’OCCITANE’S Pressed Fruity Lipstick collection comes in four shades – a vibrant spectrum of pink, red, and coral shades that complement all complexions and skin tones.
POMELIP: A fresh pink that is perfect for spring
CAROSSE: A vibrant coral shade.
SPRING SUNRISE: An uplifting, luminous pink with red undertones.
POMELOVE: A deep and intense, cherry red.
The collection is smooth and light; it applies effortlessly onto lips for an intense satin finish, without a smudge in sight (no need for a lip liner!). It has staying power too and holds its own against food and drink including red wine. Offering up to 8 hours staying power.
The lipsticks are enriched with a combination of vitamin E and a unique blend of fruit and vegetable extracts, making it true to its name – very fruity. It’s also free from silicone, mineral oils and is vegetarian-friendly.
