Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion

TEMPLESPA The Most Revealing - A New Oxygen Peel - New product launch - Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion

My spidey senses zoned in on this one on a trip to Boots recently and I just couldn’t resist. I had to snatch it and find out what it’s all about. It’s quite an exciting product because it’s been a while since Dove launched something new – I believe the last time was the Derma Spa range back in 2015. - Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion

Anyway, this is a body lotion described as a skin-illuminating body lotion for glowing skin that brings an instant healthy glow, 12-hour skin radiance, and lasting moisture for all skin tones. It contains a vitamins complex blend, as well as Niacinamide and Vitamin C which means it’s very nourishing and keeps skin hydrated for longer. Also, the specific mention of Niacinamide and Vitamin C is noteworthy because Dove rarely mention ingredients on their packaging or bottle, in this case. - Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion
Has a shimmering residue

Niacinamide is just one of those ingredients that’s just good for our skin’s health. Also known as vitamin B3, it’s a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in our skin to help visibly minimise enlarged pores, improve uneven skin tone, soften fine lines and wrinkles, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface.

And we all know the MANY benefits of Vitamin C in skincare by now. As a potent antioxidant, Vitamin C can help neutralise free radicals, help in the skin’s natural regeneration process, help with the skin’s tone and texture., to mention a few benefits. Let’s just say these two ingredients are very nourishing to skin. - Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion

The Dove Skin glow oil-in-milk body lotion is pale pink in colour and has a yoghurty smell – it reminds me of the KORRES Greek yoghurt body care range from a few years ago.

It’s thick in texture but melts when it touches skin. It also absorbs very easily and leaves skin pat dry – no oily residue, even though it’s an oil-in-milk lotion. It only leaves behind flickers of shimmer.

I’d say Dove has another winner on their hands. They do so well with moisturising body products and this one doesn’t disappoint. It does what it says on the tin.

Nourishing – check
Gives a glow – check

I wonder if they’ll build a whole range around the formula.

I got my Dove Skin glow oil – in- milk body lotion from my local Boots but I’m sure it’s available everywhere skincare is sold. It’s priced at £7.69.
