Aldi’s health and beauty brand, Lacura hit the ground running this year. It started the year with a Glossier inspired K- beauty range in January and hasn’t looked back.
The brand has been prolific launching new ranges every month culminating in their biggest ever summer beauty drop!
Launching this July in stores nationwide, the new range is chock full of luxury beauty dupes. From fragrances to makeup, it’s the quality we’ve come to expect from Lacura at a fraction of the cost of their inspiration. Here’s a sneak peek.
This summer, Lacura has added three new premium fragrances for women to its range. Starting with Lacura Lux Rau de Parfum, a woody fragrance inspired by Marc Jacob’s Decadence. It contains notes of saffron and iris, complemented by undertones of papyrus and heady vetiver; making it a sensual and creamy fragrance when spritzed. It’s definitely a statement fragrance, just like its inspiration.
Lacura Guardian Eau de Parfum
Modelled on Thierry Mugler’s Angel; Guardian embodies the sweet scents of pineapple, coconut and mandarin orange. The fruity notes make it perfect for summer.
The final fragrance is Lacura Floral Love Eau de Parfum, inspired by Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. It’s a celebration of all things floral with notes of rose, freesia and African orange flower, complemented by darker, woody aromas of bergamot, musk, patchouli, and creamy vanilla. It captures the spirit of the season and costs 95% less than Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb.
If we thought the fragrances were impressive, we were blown away by the skincare and makeup products unveiled.
Starting with the Lacura Vitamin Primer, a pretty great dupe of Bobbi Brown’s Vitamin Enriched Face Base which does an impressive job of hydrating skin and prepping it for makeup application. It contains vitamins C, B, E and Shea Butter for an instantly smooth, plump and hydrated cover, just like its inspiration.
Lacura CC+ Cream 50
A very popular product that usually flies off shelves, this CC is back at the right time when temperatures are up and a lighter touch is needed to colour correct but not to clog pores. It’s hydrating and contains SPF50. What’s more, it comes in six shades: Vanilla, Eclair, Butter Scotch, Crème Brulee, Tiramisu and Mousse, ensuring a shade for all skin tones.
Lacura Microfilling Eyebrow Pen £2.99
Frame the face and get insta-worthy brows with the new Lacura Microfilling Eyebrow Pen. It comes in four shades; Blonde, Light Brown, Medium and Deep and has been uniquely designed with a three-pronged micro tip that draws ultrafine and hair-like strokes in just one single swipe.
If you’re looking to sculpt naturally thick brows, you can seal the deal with this new Lacura Clear Brow Gel which costs just £2.99. It works to evenly shape unruly hairs into place with its distinctive wand and flake-free formula for up to 24 hours.
Lacura Translucent Setting Powder £4.99
As a staple in any routine, setting powder cannot be skipped and this Lacura Translucent Setting Powder promises to keep makeup in place for up to 16 hours – no sliding, creasing or fading.
Like most beauty launches by Lacura, it’s safe to say these products won’t be available for long so grab your favourites on the website before they are gone. The Lacura CC+ Cream 50 is available now, the rest drops on July 28th.
