Top Body Oils for Healthy and Supple Skin

Body Oils Review

Using Body oils is a great way to nourish and hydrate the skin, and especially in this warm weather, the lightness of the oil is what’s needed. Here are my picks of body oils that will leave your skin soft, supple and with a healthy glow.

Jason Vitamin E Oil:

Vitamin E oil is probably one of the best known body oils out there. It  not only nourishes and moisturises the skin, it can also help heal scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tones, among other things.
This Vitamin E Oil from JĀSÖN® is odourless and combines a blend of seven essential natural oils, including black current, evening primrose, macadamia nut and borage to relive dry skin. It can be used on its own or mixed with another lotion to thoroughly moisturise the skin. It’s not greasy, absorbs into the skin quickly and really does give supple skin after a few uses. £6.99,

Apothecary Room Rose Body Oil:

Apothecary room Rose body oil

I have only recently become acquainted with essential oils from Apothecary Room but I loved their cuticle oil so much that it’s not a big leap to their rose body oil which is formulated to replenish the skin and lock in moisture.
Made from avocado oil, apricot oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, vitamin e oil, rose essential oil and rosewood essential oil; this Rose Body Oil also balances and soothes the skin whilst the floral rosy scent is very calming to the senses. Massage into skin after a shower to feel its full moisturising benefits.
Price: £16.50,

Caudalie Body Oil:

caudalie oil

This pleasant floral scented body oil from Caudalie is very versatile; it’s brilliant for hydrating both the skin and hair. Its blend of grape oil, extra-virgin argan oil, extra-virgin hibiscus oil, and sesame oil nourishes and moisturises hair, nails and skin. In fact, it can be used as massage oil as well. Caudalie Body Oil is very light with a non-greasy finish and also free of parabens, sulfates and Phthalates.

YONKA Paris Huile Corps:

YONKA’s multi action body oil has to be one of the hardest working body oils out there considering its many benefits. It combines essential oils from hazelnut, sesame, grape seed rich in essential fats, essential oil helichrise to regenerate and nourish the skin, the oils from the sage revitalises and firms the skin while the anti-oxidants in vitamin E fights off the signs of ageing.
Frequent use of this oil will nourish and hydrate the skin as well as fight off signs of ageing, improve circulation and the shape and sheen of body contours. It’s also very light, absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving grease and smells incredibly fresh. £34.00,

Fushi Organic Rosehip Oil:

Not the best smelling body oil I’ve come across; this is down to the fact that it is organic and unrefined. Smell aside, this oil is brilliant for evening out the complexion, and reducing or getting rid of scars on the body.
The rosehip in Fushi is rich in vitamin A and C, which helps to delay the effects of skin aging, assists with cell regeneration and promotes collagen levels. And being organic, it goes without saying that Fushi Organic Rosehip Oil is free from artificial chemicals. £13.00,

I COLONIAL Deep Massage Oil:

Using I COLONIAL daily is like getting a deep tissue massage every day. The combination of essential oils in it means it not only leaves the skin soft and silky, it also nourishes and soothes the body with every use. It can be used as a normal body oil after a bath or for a prolonged massage although it’s less greasy than your average massage oil and very absorbent not to mention very fragrant. £29.50,

Yarok Feed your Youth Hair & Scalp Oil:

I hadn’t given much thought to anti-ageing treatment for hair until I came across this oil from Yarok. Containing pure yarrow and avocado oils, this hair oil will help keep hair young and protected against the usual factors that cause hair damage.
With the antioxidants, fatty acids and minerals in avocado and apricot oils; this oil nurses damaged hair back to health while hydrating and replenishing it from root to tip. £22.00,

This rich oil from Spieza works great as a daily moisturiser which is light enough to form a protective base for make-up application.
Made from a formula based on jojoba oil, which closely matches the sebum of in the skin, together with vanilla pods and rose oil; this oil is very nourishing and softening, it also hydrates and moisturises the skin all day and can help reduced the appearance of wrinkles, rosacea and acne. It is light and easily absorbed and although it is a face oil can also be used on the body. £21.95,
