Even though the weather’s not showing it, we’re in spring and festival season will be upon us soon. So it’s no surprise that Barry M Cosmetics have made the move to unveil their new Glitter Glow Up Collection – it’s the epitome of fun festival makeup. The brand also making a big statement that the collection is vegan, that cumulated in the launch party for the collection being all vegan.
At first glance, the collection is shimmery, colourful and full of glitter. Here’s a closer look:

Rebel Lash Coloured Mascara: This colourful mascara is very much on trend. It comes in two colours – Pink Power and Babein’ Blue. The mascara does lengthen lashes but I think its great USP is the fact it adds an awesome colourful tint to eyes. It’s very nice.

Next is the Glitzstick Glitter Lip Paint: Barry M describe this glitter lip paint as moisturising. I haven’t seen any evidence of that but I still love how glittery it is. It looks fabulous when applied over a lipstick but I don’t see myself wearing it solo.

There’s also Fortune Teller Glaze Topcoat: As a lover of press on nails, I’d endure a traditional manicure just so I can use this Glaze Topcoat. It has an awesome glitter effect with a rainbow effect.

Serum Mist Cooling Cucumber: I’m obsessed with skincare and a big fan of hyaluronic acid – both are the basis for flawless makeup and this refresher Serum mist contains hyaluronic acid, acacia collagen and vitamin E. All of which refreshes makeup, reduces puffiness and protects skin against pollution. Definitely worth having in your purse during festival season.

Face Jewels: this I love, it has such a fun and festive feel to it. The jewels are self-adhesive and stays on once applied which I’m stoked about.

The Barry M face jewels pack comes in Sun Goodess, Cosmic Cowgirl and Rainbow Unicorn.

Pick ‘n’ Glitz: this is now biodegradable and comes in 4 shades – Shook, Bae, As if and Goals.

It’s very glittery and probably the one product out of the entire collection I’ll be a little hesitant about using. Mostly because I don’t think I’m creative enough but I’ll definitely give it a go.

Paradise Baked Eyeshadow Palette: Last but not least in the collection is this palette. It’s made up of 18 matte and metallic colour popping and zesty shades. It’s super pigmented and blends beautifully. Simply gorgeous!

The entire collection is having a slow roll out for some reason with some already launched on barrym.com, and others will be in stores (Superdrug and boots) this month.

Let me know what you think of the collection, have you tried it? Or are you going to?
