L’OCCITANE will be reintroducing their Deodorant Balm this month with a new addition.
Last summer, they launched the Verbena Deodorant Balm after three years of research. It was a big hit so it’s back and there’s a new more gentle and sensitive Shea Deodorant Balm added to the range.
The deodorant balms are very kind to skin; made with a 98.1% natural formula which is free from aluminium salt, alcohol and sulphates with active ingredients of natural origin. There’s also no water added during the formulation process. Also in line with L’OCCITANE’s aim to reduce waste, the balm jars are made from 100% PETR, recycled and recyclable, with an aluminium lid.
The new deodorant balms are multipurpose so it’s not just for underarms, it can also be used on feet and back and has a proven 48 hours deodorant efficacy.
I got to try the latest addition – the new Shea Deodorant Balm. It has a 98.1% natural formula made up of 6% organic shea butter, absorbent natural powders (corn starch & tapioca), baking soda, and a blend of essential oils for a subtle scent deodorant.
It’s creamy in texture and easy to apply. I expected it to be oily because it’s shea butter but it’s quite the opposite. It has an almost mattifying quality to it when applied. The scent is also very subtle but it’s there and it lasts.
Both deodorant balms launch on 13th May and cost £17.50. They’ll be avilable here
