Missed Rum Week? Here are the best bits

From live tasting of Appleton Estate Rum, to Tiki On The Thames and RumFest, the first ever Rum Experience Week in London (Rum Week) was a memorable one. The seven day event which took place in venues across the capital was a celebration of the resurgence of rum and rum culture around the world.

Highlights of the week included a first-taste of Lamb’s Single Cask at Voltaire, an exclusive Rum Masters Dinner, an interactive live tasting in the Shard with Appleton Rum, a Thames Tiki rum cruise, rum pairings with cigars and chocolate, the Rum Experience University and much more.

Rum Experience Week ended with RumFest which took over London’s ILEC for the country’s biggest celebration of rum. Over 400 of the rarest and most diverse rums from across the globe were on offer for ticket holders to sip, savour and buy.

Leading and emerging rum brands took part in intimate seminars, masterclasses and more while the main stage presented cooking demonstrations and the return of the Rum Auction, which raised over £5000 for charity.

While we are still recovering from RumFest, there’s no doubt we are counting the days till next year’s event. See you there!
