Plant Beauty: Discovering Botanics Skincare

TEMPLESPA The Most Revealing - A New Oxygen Peel - New product launch

First of all, Botanics has been around since 1995 so I’m late to the party. Although I don’t think it’s a bad thing. The brand just had a refresh which means new packaging and new products added. Which in my opinion, makes it the perfect time for me to be introduced to Botanics.

I’m a big fan of plant based and organic skincare so I’ve taken to Botanics like a duck to water.

The range contains high-quality plant extracts that benefit the skin and helps target specific skin concerns for a healthy-looking complexion.

In 2000 the brand established a working relationship with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, London to help identify the best plant extracts available and to ensure their sustainability.

Botanics skincare is quite extensive, there’s the Botanics Organic range powered by rosehip which is rich in Vitamin C, Omegas’ 3, 6 and essential fatty acids – all nourishing skin foods for a healthy looking complexion.

Then, there’s the Botanics All Bright range powered by Hibiscus which has skin brightening properties. The range is a natural radiance enhancer that improves the appearance of skin’s texture and tone.

There’s also Botanics Hydration Burst range, powered by Clary Sage, a plant that helps hydrate and clarify skin.

Then there’s the Botanics Radiant Youth, powered by Ginkgo, a plant that helps defend youth.
The leaves of the Ginkgo plant contain a cocktail of anti-oxidants, used in Botanics Radiant Youth range to help to keep skin looking younger.

Botanics Triple Age Renewal is powered by Purple Orchid which is rich in moisturizing plant sugars. It helps plump and smooth skin.

As you can see, whatever your skincare needs, Botanics has something for everyone.

I’m currently using the Botanics Hydration Burst with clary sage Dual Action Cleanser daily because my skin looks very dry and stressed. I then follow up with weekly exfoliation with the Botanics Radiant Youth with Ginkgo Refining Microdermabrasion Polish to remove dead skin to help get my radiance back.

I also use the Botanics Hydration Burst with clary sage Light Serum daily before I apply a face cream or any other moisturiser.

So as you can see, you can mix and match to make your own skincare routine to suit your needs at the time.

The Botanics skincare range is available exclusively at Boots
