I’ve been itching to get my hands on the new Real Techniques make up sponges since I heard they were in the pipeline so imagine my excitement when I got them through the post the other day.
The new additions include Mini Miracles Eraser sponges, the Miracle Sculpting Sponge and the Miracle Diamond Sponge.
Now let’s delve in, starting with the Miracle Diamond Sponge. I just love the look and feel of it. My first impression is that is that it’s so lush – love the gold packaging! So the Miracle Diamond Sponge is a multi – tasking sponge with 13 faceted areas so it is perfect when you’re using more than one product because it has so many faces. It’s perfect for creating anything from sculptured cheekbones to a dewy glow.
Designed like a 900 – carat diamond, it buffs and blends make up for a flawless finish. Its short facets are perfect for targeting and colour correcting smaller areas of the face like lips, eyes and brow bone. And the large areas make foundation and make up application to largest areas of the face like the forehead and cheeks and finally the pointed tip gives precise applications. Phew, that’s a lot of work for one sponge – I love it!
The Miracle Diamond Sponge is available at Boots for £12.99.
Another new addition is this Miracle Sculpting Sponge – all you want for your contouring needs. It has 2 sides with 6 surfaces designed to create a dewy highlight or contour. It’s ideal for powders, creams and liquids.
The two head, the smaller side of the head is for controlled highlighting and the larger side is for a blended contour. The two flat edges is for fuller coverage while the two rounded sides is to blend around the larger areas of the face and the tapered ends is for precision application to nose, eyes, cheek bones and jaw line.

And finally, the Mini Miracles Eraser sponges – all you need to keep your make up intact. From flaking mascara to eyeshadow fall out, the Mini Miracles Eraser sponges sweeps away makeup mishaps. Use it damp to blend harsh lines and dry to pick up stray make up.
The rounded sides buff away extra make up or creasing from cheekbones, forehead and chin. The precision flat tip erases makeup from edges of the eyes, brows and nose. The signature flat edge delicately removes stray eyeshadow and the precision pointed tip targeted sweep around the corners of the eyes or edges of the nose.
