Last month, I attended the Dove 2018 Showcase, it’s actually one of the events I look forward to each year. It was educational and fun as always, but a tad overwhelming because Dove has so many products. But each year, I try to wade through it all to bring you the new products that I’m loving and this year is no different.
I raved a lot about the Dove Shower Foam after the showcase last year because I loved it so much, and this year it’s the turn of the Dove Shower Mousse to get all my love. It’s funny, I’ve lived contently without a shower mousse but after this showcase, I just can’t seem to get enough and I see it everywhere I go. I even saw a Raddox shower mousse a few days ago that I absolutely had to have – I’m obsessed!
Back to the Dove Shower Mousse, they are creamy, infused with oils and keeps skin moisturised and soft for 24hrs. They come in Argan Oil, Rose Oil and Coconut Oil and has such a rich and foamy lather that acts as a 2-in-1 shower and shave product.
Next is the Dove Sensitive Skin Micellar Water. Dove is a little late with this as there are Micellar waters everywhere, although there can never be enough beauty products which is why new products are launched every week.
This one from Dove is hypoallergenic as well as fragrance, soap, parabens and sulphate free. It comes in two variants – Dove Micellar Water Anti-Stress and Dove Micellar Water Sensitive Skin.
I’m a huge fan of the Dove Derma Spa Range, it’s so moisturising and soothing. I still use the DermaSpa uplifted+body lotion and now I have a new favourite – the Derma Spa Oxygen.
It’s light, fresh and absorbs really quickly and protects and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier so what’s not to love? It’s perfect for spring and summer in my opinion.
It comes in the form of a Derma Spa Oxygen Touch Body Lotion and a Derma Spa Oxygen Touch Body Cream. They are so light, they feel like sorbet and smell amazing thanks to the notes of citrus, aldehydes as well as rose and peony with vanilla. You smell great while getting a nourished skin and even skin tone.
Next is the Dove Nourishing Secrets Range, which gets new additions in the form of Nourishing Secrets Invigorating Ritual Spray Body Lotion and Restoring Ritual Spray Body Lotion. With accompanying hand creams.
The spray body lotions will be perfect for summer-I mean why spend minutes slathering on creams and potions when you can get your skin moisturised, nourished and smelling amazing in seconds?
Finally, there are new additions to the Dove DermaSpa Summer Revived Range – dark medium and medium to dark to help build a natural looking tan while moisturising skin. And there’s this Dove Visible Glow Self-Tanning Lotion which is the more grown up version of the DermaSpa Summer Revived Range that gives a summer glow all year round while moisturising skin to promote even development and fade. It’ll leave you sun kissed and streak free. It comes in fair to medium and medium to dark.
And I almost forgot about the new Dove invisible Care Range designed to care for underarms without leaving white marks on 100 fabric colours not just the usual black or white fabrics. That’s pretty cool.
As always, Dove skincare products are in most beauty shops and supermarkets.
