Newness from DHC

It wouldn’t be Christmas without something special from everyone’s favourite Japanese cult beauty brand DHC so say hello to the latest addition I’m loving.
I’m currently obsessed with hydration because the season we’re in requires it thanks to constant rain and central heating.

Since my post on winter skincare saviours, I haven’t left anything to chance. I make sure my skin is hydrated inside and out and these new products from DHC will ensure this goes on.
These new products from DHC were actually unveiled earlier this month so I’m late in talking about them but better late than never right?

Let’s start with the Astaxanthin Collagen All-in-One Gel which is a multi-action, age-defying gel cream. So not only does it tone skin, it also hydrates and brightens while fighting free radical damage. Its main ingredient is super antioxidant astaxanthin, a vitamin-like substance considered 6000 times more powerful than vitamin C. This multi-action gel cream is deeply absorbed when applied to moisturise and nourish skin. And the added ingredients of Collagen, Elastin firm and Hyaluronic acid helps skin maintain its natural moisture barrier.

I heard about Astaxanthin for the first time from DHC, as an antioxidant derived from freshwater green algae, the food eaten by salmon for its rich pink colour which is why the colour of this Astaxanthin Collagen All-in-One Gel is so pink.

Since the event, I’ve heard Astaxanthin whispered in other beauty corners confirming it’s likely to be the ‘IT’ ingredient of 2018 just like Hyaluronic acid is for this year.

Another new product introduced by DHC is actually an addition to an old favourite of mine, the Beauty Lift range. Say hello to the new Beauty Lift Eye Care Essence Roll – on!
The new Beauty Lift Eye Care Essence Roll – on is a massaging eye treatment that firms and smoothes. It contains oat kernel extract, the power of mevalonolactone, ceramide 3, and pentapeptide-18 to hydrate and lift.

The massaging beads cool and stimulate the delicate skin around the eye when applied to smooth fine lines, dryness and ease other signs of aging.

When using for the first time, press pen about 10 times to release the product; and roll onto the eye area, then smooth into skin with the ring finger.
