New Asian Beauty Discovery: Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel

The Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel had two things going in its favour even before I opened the packaging.
First, it’s an Asian beauty brand so naturally I’m expecting it to be super advanced and effective, secondly it had the inscription ’30 scrubs to finer and smoother skin for all skin types’ and who doesn’t want that?

All in all, I was looking forward to trying the Ginvera brands’ hero product. But to start from the beginning, the brand originates from Singapore and has been in existence since the early 90’s although we’re just getting wind of it in the UK.

The Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel is from the Ginvera Green Tea Skincare range which includes the Ginvera Green Tea Intensive Spot Corrector and the Ginvera Green Tea Refining Fluid.

All made from natural ingredients which obviously includes green tea essence, soya bean extract, vitamin E and C, Biogel, Ginseng and Aloe Vera so there’re are no harsh ingredients.
The Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel also claims to have loads of other benefits including getting rid of dead skin cells and blackheads, refining pores, lightening black spots and scars, evening skin tone and making skin radiant.

How to use

I’ve been going through a series of hormonal breakouts and the resulting blackheads are particularly bad so the Ginvera Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel couldn’t have landed in my lap at a better time.

The instructions were pretty simple, so I got stuck in straight away. All I had to do was use on a dry face with dry fingers. I squeezed a sufficient amount and dotted it on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose. Then I massaged into the skin for about a minute then rinsed it off with water followed by my facial cleanser.

Once applied, the gel targets the cornified skin layer, dissolving and removing the dead skin cells on the top most epidermis layer. I did expect some form of reaction – some shedding of dead skin but I didn’t see any, instead it was absorbed into the skin.

Two weeks down the line, my blackheads are fading gradually so I am looking forward to the 30th day. After all, who doesn’t want smoother, softer and clear skin?

The Ginvera Exfoliating Marvel Gel is available at www.janiro.co.uk and costs £19.99
