Spring is finally here and I’m obsessing about fragrances. Light, fresh and hopefully long-lasting are the characteristics I look for in a fragrance this time of year.
So far, here are the fragrances that have passed the spring test:
Lovey Sheer by SJP – £35

Having just come in possession of this newly launched fragrance by SJP. I can tell you, it personifies what a spring fragrance should be. Light, delicate and ultra-feminine, I this light version of the original Lovely by SJP is perfect for this time of year. If there’s one criticism, it’ll be that this fragrance is not long lasting or linger enough.
Black Absinthe Eau de Cologne by Crabtree & Evelyn – £42

This fragrance was launched last spring and it still perfect for this year. it’s infused with rejuvenating herbaceous notes of absinthe, Artemisia and fennel flower celebrating absinthe’s apothecary roots. Underneath these lively herbal notes, there are smooth tones of black liquorice and peppery vetiver which add a lasting sensuality. It’s surprisingly longlastng too.
Chloé Eau de Toilette – £35

Love the subtleness and femininity of this fragrance. but it also has a lot of staying power; it’s exactly what you want to wear in the spring sunshine.
Daisy by Marc Jacobs – £46.99

Love Daisy by Marc Jacobs because it is quintessentially spring. Fresh and feminine, notes of wild strawberry, violet petals and sparkling grapefruit set the tone, accompanied by luxurious jasmine and gardenia in the heart.
Atlas Mountain Rose Fragrance Mist by The Body Shop – £8.50

Technically not a fragrance but a fragrance mist, it subtly scents the entire body with a luminous accord of cassis buds and fresh rose, with a hint of warm spices and amber.
