The festive season is here! I know we’ve just entered November but I feel very festive after attending the launch of Ice Rink Canary Wharf sponsored by Tresor Paris.
The evening attended by over 200 people was magical. The ice rink, which is one of the biggest outdoor ice rinks in the UK, is also the only one with a skate path. The rink and trees were lit with twinkling fairy lights for a brilliant setting, there’s an on-site Jukebox bar by Boisdale with a retro-themed menu, an outdoor viewing terrace and a Tresor Paris pop up shop.
Guests were treated to a ghoulish ice show to celebrate Halloween, they were given the opportunity to skate on the rink, and as usual there was plenty of Champagne, canapés and live music.
Apart from the beautiful settings, the Tresor Paris pop-up shop was one of the highlights of the night. Tresor Paris had some fantastic accessories on display including crystallised skates worth £4,995. The stunning boots are going to be auctioned off in aid of BBC Children in Need and should raise a handsome sum.
Ice Rink Canary Wharf is opened until 16th February 2014 with a lot of programmes scheduled including the BBC Children in Need, Longest Conga on Ice.
