Ashley Isham found inspiration for his Autumn/ Winter 2015 collection in the creative life of a Nomadic Wanderer.
In the Nomadic world, Akvyle discovers dimensionality that has a rich, avant-garde textural flair. It is a world that is opulent in fabric, colour with extravagant ruche that has an extraneously decorative decadent twist. It is the random ways that fabrics and colours were pulled together to create a sumptuous vision.
Hence the Autumn Winter 2015 collection has a brooding romanticism but with dreamily exotic mood that plays with shadow and light. It’s the random ways that fabrics and colours are pulled together in high-pile fabrics that have dense, dark autumnal tones. It is decorative and free, to keep the mood fresh and energetic but with a solemnness that is familiar.
