Day 5 of Body Reset Diet:
I woke up hungry this morning which was surprising. But thinking about it, it probably has something to do with me eating so late last night.
I went to a work event last night so got home around 10:30 pm and had my green smoothie around 10:45.
Then had a snack of 4 crispbreads and roasted peanuts with a cup of sugarless tea and skimmed milk before I went to bed around midnight.
Anyway back to this morning, instead of rushing for my morning smoothie, I had a cup of sugarless tea instead. Surprisingly the tea was more than enough – the hunger pangs disappeared till 11 am when I had my breakfast smoothie.
I went back to read the pages on snacks in the body reset diet because as I predicated, I find myself snacking on more and more peanuts. I’ve decided to try some of the suggested combo snacks like edamame (soya beans), laughing cow light cheese triangle and crispbreads and some almond butter.
I also weighed myself at the end of the day because I wanted to know if I’d lost any weight as the night before, my favourite jeans felt a little loose at the waist. According to my bathroom scale, I’d lost 3lb – yay.
I know everyone’s body is different so I’m trying not to compare my 3lb in the first 5 days to testimonies in the diet book. It’s a start and I can’t wait to see the results on day 15 and beyond.
Day 5 Meals:
Breakfast: white peach ginger smoothie – 300 kcal(but I substituted white peach for 1 plum)
Lunch: Ruby Red Frostie – 270 kcal
Dinner: Cool Cucumber – lime smoothie – 320 kcal
